A Comfortable, Compassionate Approach
You don’t have to make sense of it all on your own.
Some things take time to understand. That’s why we sort through them together.
Much of the work I do revolves around relationships — with partners, parents, children— and often, the relationship we have with ourselves. Sometimes people come to me during a transitional time. Other times, it’s just a quiet sense that something isn’t quite right. Either way, I help you make sense of what is going on.
Hi I’m Sam (she/her),
I believe that people are not defined by what has happened to them, but rather the meaning they give to their experiences. My approach starts with curiosity and compassion, and my practice is rooted in evidence-based methods. Together, we will take the time to figure out what is going on, what might help, and how to move forward toward a sorted narrative.
As a Registered Psychotherapist + Trauma Intervention Responder, I bring a diverse education & personal background to my practice, allowing me to connect with various mindsets since we all have unique perspectives and experiences.
I work from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, & strength-based perspective, ensuring therapy is a space where you can truly be yourself. My practice is affirming of BIPOC & LGBTQIA2S+ identities.
A Comfortable, Compassionate Approach
Therapy with me is a conversation - its not about “fixing” you or adding another task on your list. It’s about carving out space in your busy life to feel calmer, more connected, and clear about what matters most to you.
I support busy young professionals who want real, meaningful support and practical guidance that fits into real life. My goal is to make therapy feel safe, relational, and approachable - helping you feel seen, understood, and less alone.
Therapy That Feels Easy.
I believe compassion is at the heart of meaningful therapy. When you’re met with understanding instead of judgment, it becomes easier to explore what feels vulnerable or stuck. Together, we’ll soften your inner critic and help you treat yourself with the same care you offer others.
Compassion & Collaboration
I believe therapy works best when it feels real — not clinical or performative. When you can show up as you are — messy, unsure, hopeful, overwhelmed — meaningful change begins. Authentic connection creates the safety needed for growth.
Down-to-earth
Curiosity Over Judgement
I’m not here to tell you who you are - I’m here to help you discover it. I approach every session with curiosity, not assumptions. Together, we’ll explore your patterns, values, and story with openness, not shame.
